SPECIAL THANKS GO OUT TO
Scotty Moore & Gail Pollock - without them, who knows? Bucky and Gigi Barrett, for all their help. Billy Swan for his contribution. What a cool dude he is. Richard McLaurin, the sound man, who put up with real pain to help me finish. His back was not well, but his ears were definitely working. Top guy. Bob Moore, what a great bassist, and a really sweet man. Still plays better than any young gun I’ve ever heard. Reggie Young, what can I say except just thanks for adding your magic to my music. Dave Briggs, who had all the hassle, paper work, co-ordinating the guys, and then playing the piano and organ so beautifully. It was his studio after all. They’re all fun to be around, and next time me and them are going to share a cold one or two.
Thanks to Mum and Dad for just being there for me over the years, and making me who I am. My darling wife Mia, who has had the real job, watching me fret over the last months, and always supporting me. She was my main inspiration for this album—and everything else I do. Colleen Sanders and little Jackson her son, for setting me up with the record company in the first place. What a great friend. xx. And finally Matt Best, for guiding me through the whole session, giving me his encouragement and his musical passion. Matt, what a dude. It’s all your fault really, isn’t it? And of course REGGIE, BOB, N DAVE.XXX
